My Favorite ELF Products

Eyes Lips Face (aka Elf) is one of those drugstore brands that you may not know too much about. And many may not know that their range is much more broad than what you see at your local drugstore. Although many items are under $6 (yes, really), the quality on many products is on par with many of the higher end brands.

I implore you to meander on over to www.eyeslipsface.com and take a look at their wide array of products. I do suggest you stay within their 'Studio' line; as many of the great products (in my opinion) are within this line.

The following are some of my favorites...

For the eyes:
Cream Eyeshadow: It is just what it sounds like. These are a cream formula that are highly pigmented and transfer amazingly well. I love using these as bases for powders or alone as a quick wash of color as you head out the door. On my lids, they are fairly long lasting. Only $3!
Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow: A moussey texture that delivers intense pigment and fairly large glitter flecks (at least in my shades). These are not as long lasting as the cream and do require a base. But the color payoff is well worth it. And only $3 as well!
Baked Eyeshadow: amazing powder eyeshadow. Even more amazing used wet (as most baked products are) Note: use the Elf spray to achieve intense look. $3

L-R: Cream Eyeshadows in Dawn & Natural Glow--Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Gala & Toast--Baked Eyeshadow in Toast & Pixie
For the Lips:
Matte Lip Colors are wonderful everyday shades that last a descent amount of time on the lips and look fabulous with gloss on top. Not as drying as some matte shades. But do make certain lips are properly moisturized before application. $3

L-R: Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose & Natural
For the Face: HD Blush & Contouring Blush & Bronzer & Makeup Mist & Set

HD Blush: by the far the best cream blush I have used. Very pigmented, so be sure to use a tiny amount or you will have a mess on your hands! A stippling brush works best to avoid concentrated application with a standard blush brush. $3
Contouring Blush & Bronzer: Great pigmentation and blends beautifully. The bronzer is a bit too muddy for my skin tone but a light hand (very light hand) works to warm up the skin a bit. The blush is absolutely beautiful! A great multi tasker if you can find a shade that suits your complexion! $3
Makeup Mist & Set: Maybe not the best for prolonging the wear of your makeup, but is a wonderful pick me up for bare skin or to use to wet brushes before product application! (i.e baked eyeshadows) $3
