The Lion In Winter (1968) - Trailer

If you haven't seen The Lion in Winter...I just don't know what you're waiting for really! Without a doubt one of my favorite movies of all time. It features the recently departed and amazing Peter O'Toole as the formidable Henry II. Katharine Hepburn as the legendary Eleanor of Aquitaine and Anthony Hopkins (yep, Hannibal himself) as the Coeur de Lion, Richard the Lionheart (yes, the one from fabled Robin Hood).

I love English history and can give you the royal timeline starting with Edward the Confessor, as well as little intrigues about each one. I definitely inherited this from my mother and grandmother. So whilst everyone else is engrossed in the latest from Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead; I am plugged into watching A History of Britain...for probably the umpteenth time. Luckily, they're all available on YouTube!

You're welcome!

PS Not to worry, I still enjoy serious programs. Like The Real Housewives franchise.
